Hi my name is Michelle and I’m the reader behind A Novel Place Bookshop. 

I am based in Southampton, UK and I run my shop from a small HQ in my family home.

My love for books started me on a book inspired wax melt making journey in 2015 when I opened my first business, Itchy Avocado. Fast forward 6 years and a lot has changed.

My love of books and reading always has me scanning the job ads for positions in libraries and bookshops. Being surrounded by books all day sounds heavenly. And then it clicked. Why was I running a business that was book themed when I could open a bookshop of my own?!

And now here we are. An online bookshop filled with personally selected titles. Every book in my shop has been picked to hold a place on the shelf because I believe they're amazing! and I know you will love them too.
